The opera "ILLIAD" by Homer at the 5th HIGH SCHOOL OF ACHARNON

 ACHARNON 5TH HIGH SCHOOL AMPHITHEATER

Monday, December 18, 2023. An educational presentation of Homer's Opera "ILLIAD" with music and libretto by music composer Panagiotis Karousos was successfully presented at the 5th Gymnasium of Acharnon for secondary schools with an introductory seminar: "Prosody as a connecting link between opera and ancient Greek secretariat". Lecturer: Panagiotis Karousos, composer (prosody analysis).

Participated: Choir "Rhapsodes" and Lyrical Soloists. Irini Konsta (Beautiful Helen), Hlín Leifsdóttir (Andromache), Niki Zaharopoulou. Piano: Christiana Manou.

Students of the Theater Group of the 5th Gymnasium of Acharnon participated interactively with an act of Rhapsody A of Homer's Iliad. Narrator: Anastasia Karakasidou,
