Songs by the Greek-Canadian composer Panagiotis Karousos were performed at the Christmas celebration of the Ilisos Cultural Association

21/12/2023. Association ILISOS On the 21st of December at the Association Ilisos Cultural Association We distributed gifts for all the children, presented for the first time the theatrical fairy tale "The Christmas of Santa Claus" by Leonardo Thimos with the Theatrical Group for THES Erotokritos and we were honored with the presence of the music composer Panagiotis Karousos where the soprano Hlín Leifsdóttir performed his songs, Village Christmas (Konstantinos Hatzopoulos) and Christmas Has Dawned (Kosta Krystallis), and she was accompanied on the piano by Christiana Manou, and at the event we were honored, among others, by my Municipal Councilor co-candidate Kostas Pitsios Konstantinos Pitsios, Ilias Skouras, Kostas Kommatas and many more notable men of art and letters. DJ Chris Mallios provided songs and music for us ♥️ 🎶 Many thanks to the President, Mrs. Eleni Zoidou, the Board of Directors. of the club as well as the dance teacher Vasiliki Tsola Taga who took us on a journey with traditional dances. Also, at the event, Vasiliki Deliou, the director and actress of the theater group of the Association O Ilisos, read a beautiful Christmas ecological fairy tale. Merry Christmas to all!!!
