TRIUMPHAL PRESENTATION OF THE GREEK ROCK OPERA "PORPHYRA" BY BILLY CHRISSOCHOS

New York, Monday 16 May, 2016. The first Greek Rock opera "Porphyra" by Billy Chrissochos presented successfully at The Players Theatre, Off Broadway in New York.

All three days performances concluded by a Standing Ovation for all artists especially for the composer of the Musical Billy Chrissochos. Dancers, singers, musicians and actors gave their best for a thrilling stage performance that pleased the cheer audience. 

Mr. Ioannis Maronitis president of Greece's UNESCO Club awarded Billy Chrissochos' Porphyra in New York UNESCO Club of Piraeus and Islands awarded “Porphyra, a Grecian Rock Opera. Anna and Vladimir: The love that ROCKED the world,” An awesome presentation from all artists.  

Porphyra first Greek Rock Opera at Players Theater in Broadway 
This very successful premiere for the Greek Rock Opera “Porphyra" by Billy Chrissochos at The Players Theatre in New York brought to a spotlight a Byzantine love story never made before.
The musical “Porphyra" by Billy Chrissochos concered the Off Broadway in Manhattan and now is ready for a bigger stage performances around New York and USA cities.
Cast was excellent, hilarious and spectacular a real Broadway casting. Mr. Ioannis Maronitis, awarded and appointed the creator of “Porphyra" Mr. Billy Chrissochos as a Director of Modern Music and representative UNESCO Club of Piraeus & Islands in America.
Also the president of UNESCO awarded all cast artists after the applause of the cheer audience.
