Opera "ILIAD" by Homer set to music by Panagiotis Karousos at the Municipal Theater of Piraeus


 The Club for UNESCO of Piraeus & Islands under the auspices of the Municipality of Piraeus, and the Municipality of Piraeus and the international organization INTERNATIONAL ACTION ART, presents the Opera "ILIAD" by Homer set to music by Panagiotis Karousos at the Municipal Theater of Piraeus on Wednesday 25 May at 11am

The Opera / Oratorio "ILIAD" of Homer in music and libretto by Panagiotis Karousos has been approved to be presented in the context of the Approval of the Educational Program-Festival entitled: "NEOI OMIRIDES" for schools in Greece and abroad. "APOSTOLOS PAVLOS" SCHOOLS OF CORINTH - GENERAL SECRETARIAT FOR SECONDARY EDUCATION AND SPECIAL EDUCATION - MINISTRY OF EDUCATION OF GREECE.
The presentation of the opera "Iliad" by Homer in music and libretto by Panagiotis Karousos participates in the events "Days of the Sea 2022" of the Municipality of Piraeus
The opera Iliad of Homer has the support of the Ministry of Culture of Greece

AHEPA HERMES CH 186, Astoria - New York City


Congratulations to the newly elected board of AHEPA HERMES CH 186, Astoria - New York City and to the new President Peter Argyropoulos Vice President Iggy Tarranova Glen Livet, Secretary Peter Steve G and Treasurer George J Giakoumis 

The new officers were sworn-in by AHEPA District 6 New York State Secretary and former Hermes Ch. No. 186 President  George Zouvelos

We thank the outgoing members of the board president Br. Billy Chrissochos and Former president and Secretary Br. Louis Kokalis for their service. With Br. Governor Dean Moskos extending via the District Secretary his congrats and his best warm wishes to all. Order of AHEPA

Congratulations to the newly elected Executive Board automatically headed former chapter president Billy Chrissochos, and unanimously elected Br. Former NY State District Governor, and former Hermes President Demetrios Alexander, Br. Lou Kokalis as stated above and me George Zouvelos as stated above.
