JOIN AHEPA ASK ME HOW, as the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) #ΑΧΕΠΑ is a fraternal organization founded on July 26, 1922, in #Atlanta, #Georgia. AHEPA was founded to fight for civil rights and against discrimination, bigotry, and hatred felt at the hands of hate groups mainly the #KKK #KuKluxKlan. Greeks American-shop owners hired African-Americans and people of color, and also permitted all people to visit, browse and shop at their locations. This AHEPA beginning in Atlanta was significant since the grand Wizard of the Clan was based in Atlanta.
