The Greek Artists Guild was formed to help promote lesser known Greek-American artists in the NY Tri-State area. Our mission is to give artisits venues to exhibit and sell their work.
Since 2011 we have exhibited our work in six bi-annual exhibitions at the Stathakion Cultural Center in Ditmars, Astoria. We aspire to help expand the art scene in Astoria and Queens and inspire a neo artistic renaissance.
We are looking for talented visual artists; painters, comic book artists, graphic designers, photographers and sculptors to add to our organization. If you would like to get involved please contact us at

The guild was founded by Billy Chrissochos, Sophocles Plokamakis, George Delis, Athanasios Aronis, Efterpi Iatraki, Marianthi Raptis, Magdalen Mavroudis, Eirini Tsiaris, Efstathia Fragou, Dion Maravegias, Dora Sislian Themelis.

This is a great initiative and I am so happy to hear about such motivational actions!!Greece has many good artists not only when it comes to art or photography, but also ballet and theater artists! There are several cultural events being held in Athens every year and the greek national opera is offering a great range of different shows to their audience, like opera shows, ballet performances, operettas, theater for kids, all what you can imagine! Especially this year's program https://www.nationalopera.gr/en/ is having great productions!
