The opera "ILLIAD" at the 44th Children's Festival
Friday, May 31. Excerpts from the opera "ILLIAD" by Homer by music composer Panagiotis Karousos were presented with great success at the 44th Children's Festival in Alsos Varvaresos of the Municipality of Lykovrysi-Pefki. Greeting: Marios Psychalis, Mayor of Lykovrysi - Pefkis. Participants: Choir "Rhapsodes" and Lyrical Soloists: Rea Voudouri, Gannis Darios, Hlín Leifsdóttir, Giannos Kotzias. Piano: Christiana Manou. The artists were attended and congratulated by Marios Psychalis, Mayor of Lykovrysi-Pefkis, the deputy mayors of Lykovrysi-Pefkis Municipality, Iordanis Vogiatzoglou, Ioannis Kalambalikis, Panagiotis Bollas, Marina Magourilou, the president of the Lykovrysi-Pefkis municipal council Christos Bakalis, the Protopresbyter Rev. Georgios Stathopoulos from Holy Cathedral of Agios Panteleimonos Pefkis, and Nikos Kotzias, cellist musisian of the State Orchestra of Athens.
