Billy Chrissochos: Presentation/lecture “An Ode to Macedonia”

April 12th 2019. New York, NY, United States. Billy Chrissochos: This past Sunday I partook on a new endeavor. I am now part of the newly established Hellenic Cultural Center of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Flushing. Our first endeavor was the presentation/lecture “An Ode to Macedonia.”Mrs. Ekaterine Livanis was the key speaker speaking about the aftermath of the Prespes Agreement. I showed a slide presentation of the historical role of Macedonia throughout Hellenic History. The St. Nicholas Children’s Choir and pianist Areti Giovanni performed under the direction of Eleftherios Eleftheriadis. Mrs Kromidas was the master of Ceremonies and Father Paul Palesty spoke about the new committee. His eminence Archbishop Demetrios graced us with his presence and spoke to the enthralled crowd in the end.
Main lecture in Greek, slide presentation in English. Many thanks to George Selinsky for live streaming my presentation. You can watch it here:https://www.facebook.com/groups/627895857390614/permalink/1127960094050852?sfns=mo
