WINNERS OF LAGFF 2015

LOS ANGELES GREEK FILM FESTIVAL


WE CONGRATULATE OUR WINNERS


STRATOS by Yannis Economides won the Best Feature Orpheus Award. AGORA by Yorgos Avgeropoulos won the Best Documentary Orpheus Award. CITIZEN DAY by Basile Doganis received the Best Short Film Orpheus, and UNDERNEATH THE OLIVE TREE by Stavroula Toska the Van Vlahakis Award. The Audience Orpheus went to Angeliki Aristomenopoulou A FAMILY AFFAIR

The IPDF's AEGEAN AWARD for the most promising feature film project went to Bulgarian project DORA by Milko Lazarov and was received by Producer Veselka Kiryakova. Greek Director Arsenis Polymenopouloswon a scholarship at the Mediterranean Film Instiute (Mfiscript2film workshops mfi.gr) for his project IN THE ARENA.

Finally, Greek Director Aristotelis Maragkos and Turkish DirectorHuseyin Karabey received honorable mentions for their short filmPORTRAIT and feature film project HAMARAT APARTMENT respectively.
