GOLDEN ORPHEUS Sunday, June 7, 10pm people were exiting the Rigler Theater at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood raving about the host of the 9th Orpheus Awards, Panos Mouzourakis, a well-known Greek musician, actor and performer. Mouzourakis "killed" it on stage, dancing to his version of syrtaki and the established theme song of 20th Century Fox. Mouzourakis went on to perform a rollicking song about the Festival's supporters taking the common "thank you" mentions to another level. Both funny and heartfelt, the lyrics were written by Mouzourakis and his longtime business partner, acclaimed screenwriter, Yiorgos Feidas, creator of Greek shows S1ngles and Mana X Ouranou. The Orpheus Awards show was produced by Dorothea Paschalidou and Aspasia Koumli. The music was written by composer Alexis Cohen, and Fashion Designer Christina Economou's brands were featured.  Kary Antholis and Evan Spiliotopoulos were presented with Honorary Orpheus by Greg Yaitanes and Eftehea Meli respectively.
