“Hellenic cultural diplomacy opportunities as an instrument of Soft Power in the East Mediterranean and Abroad

Enclosed find the video of a unique unique Hellenic cultural event by AHEPA Athens Chapter HJ-10 on February 10 on the occasion of the annual celebration of International Hellenic Language Day the day of the passing of Dionysios Solomos, the national poet of Modern Hellas with an extraordinary and distinguished group of presenters. I had been asked by the Chapter President, in a complex twist to the Hellenic language topic, if I could speak on “Soft Power” in the East Mediterranean. In my mind I said Why Not and took on the challenge. I made my presentation in English on purpose (all the others were in the Hellenic). My presentation after an introduction by well known Journalist Natassa Vissarionos , who was the moderator, of the event is about 54 minutes into the video. Enjoy.
