Thursday, May 22, 2025. The opera "Homer's Iliad" with music and libretto by composer Panagiotis Karousos was presented at the Municipal Garden Theater of Nikaia. The performance took place as part of the 30th Nikaia Student Festival dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the composer Mikis Theodorakis. Members of the "Rhapsodes" Musical Ensemble participated: Irini Konsta (soprano), Rea Voudouri (soprano), Panagiotis Diplaros (baritone), Nina Giatra (soprano), Giannis Darrios (tenor), Niki Zacharopoulou (chorist), Maria Grigoriou (chorist), Christiana Manou (piano), Panagiotis Karousos (composer). Also participated students of the 3rd Gymnasium of St. I. Rentis and the 63rd Athens High School.
To promote cultural ties between the United States of America and Greece through Music and the Arts.
