The Opera "ILIAD" by Homer at the Elefsina Archaeological Site

The Club for UNESCO of Piraeus & and the international organization INTERNATIONAL ACTION ART, with the cultural organization Hellenic-American Center of the Arts presents the Opera "ILIAD" by Homer set to music by Panagiotis Karousos at the Elefsina Archaeological Site on Wednesday 8 June at 7pm

The presentation will take place in the Great Propylaea and in the Roman Courtyard. Entrance to Eleusis of the Sanctuary of the Eleusinian Mysteries.

Achilles: Argyris Kontonikolaou, tenor
Nikolaos Dedes, piano
Choreography: Pan-Epirus Association of Elefsina in choreography by Eleni Gogou.

The Opera / Oratorio "ILIAD" of Homer in music and libretto by Panagiotis Karousos presented in the events "Days of the Sea 2022" of the Municipality of Piraeus with a big success at the historical Municipal Theatre of Piraeus.
The opera Iliad of Homer has the support of the Ministry of Culture of Greece.

Every year, around "FESTIVAL TIME", from a child I would attend this Festival, as I grew older I started to help out at it.
For the last 18 years, I have been helping out in the "BBQ - Pit" cooking all those delicious Shish-Ka-Bobs with a few other people some of whom are my close friends So here I am, doing it again and I Love to help out! It's for a good cause and it's also a lot of fun!

If you have never been to this you are definitely missing out on Good Times and Fresh, Tasty Greek Food! Many people come to this Festival and Enjoy the Sights, Sounds and Food of the Greek Culture! Many of you, my closest friends, people that follow me where ever I DJ, have come by and enjoyed everything this Festival Has To Offer. I hope to see you all once again, come by and say Hello to me. Ioannis Maronitis and Billy Chrissochos at New York exhibition of UNESCO Piraeus Club and Action Art

Billy Chrissochos: My first art exhibition with UNESCO Piraeus Club and Action Art. I showcased my new mixed media piece on Friday,” The Nine Muses, the god Apollo, and Pegasus.” So much incredible art to see. Thanks to president Ioannis Maronitis for inviting me to participate. They were a bit shocked seeing me as an artist because I am the UNESCO Piraeus Club Director of Modern Music in NY. So they know me as primarily a musician/composer
