Our students recently learned what it was like to go from simple villager to Greek Warrior! This event was presented by our Greek and History departments. We would like to thank our new Byzantine History teacher, Mr. Chrissochos, for helping organize the event.
Andrew Yamato is a historical reenactor who is part of The Greek Phalanx. This organization was created to accurately portray the hoplite (man-at-arms) citizen soldiers of the Greek city states from the Archaic and Classical eras (c. 650-323 BCE).
