Songs by the internationally renowned composer Panagiotis Karousos were performed at Zappeio Megaro for the Tranoulis Fashion House and the Club for UNESCO of Piraeus and Islands

Wednesday, October 9. At Zappeio Megaro, in a wonderful performance by the Club for UNESCO of Piraeus and Islands and Tranoulis Fashion House, songs by the internationally renowned composer Panagiotis Karousos were performed. Parthenon (Costis Palamas), and Caryatides (Ioannis Polemis), dedicated to the return of the Parthenon sculptures. Participants: Rhea Voudouri (soprano), Giannis Darreios (tenor), Fotini Papachristou (alto), Niki Zacharopoulou (alto), Maria Grigoriou (alto), Argyris Kontonikolau (tenor). Piano: Christiana Manou. On the steps of the emblematic Zappeion Megaros, a 7-meter table dominated the space and a modern "SYMPOSIO" was set up around it. Four modern Dionysians descended the steps, while six Caryatids emerged from the entrance of the Zappeio Megaro and stood in front of the columns.

Traditional dances and presentation of the traditional costume of the Group's workshops for UNESCO Piraeus and Islands. Finale at "SYMPOSIO" with a Cretan band and folk dances.
